 LOVE ON A PLATE

 21.06.2024

This past weekend, once again, over 200 people received a hot meal, milk for the little ones, clothes, shoes, and, most of all, those precious human gestures that can mean everything: a warm hug, a genuine smile, a glance that says “I see you.”

Because what these boys and girls need more than anything is to feel acknowledged, to know they are not invisible, and to believe, even just for a moment, that hope is still alive.

Among them are many young mothers, still children themselves, trying to raise their babies with empty hands but hearts full of strength. They too are part of this silent emergency we can no longer ignore.

None of this would be possible without the generous support of our donors, who allow us to continue showing up week after week, and the extraordinary commitment of our local volunteers, like the incredible Sabbath, who every Sunday does so much more than distribute food. She takes the time to truly see the kids, to ask how they're doing, to listen to their stories, and to understand what kind of help we can offer beyond the meal, help that can make a lasting difference.

But it's not enough. There is still so much to be done.

So many children to rescue from the streets, so many lives that can still be changed.

Join us. Be part of this movement to end hunger and restore dignity in Nairobi, Kenya, one smile, one meal, one life at a time.
