We’re very excited to introduce you to Italian adventurer and internationally renowned travel and portrait photographer Mauro De Bettio photography and founder of the Malaika Foundation.
Mauro will be exhibiting his extraordinary photographic works in:
A Home Away from Home, opening on Saturday 7 October 6-9pm, and will be generously giving a heartwarming talk on the night. His works reveal the strength and resilience of humanity and often the most marginalised of our societies. He explores the fragile balance between diversity and beauty.
His stunning book 40 Seasons of Humanity will also be available to purchase. In the spirit of the NG Art Creative Residency's ethos of supporting those in need, we will be making a donation to the Malaika foundation and hope the proceeds from the sales of artworks will provide necessities needed.
Malaika Foundation’s overarching mission is to provide food to children living in poverty in Nairobi, Kenya.
The Foundation aims to provide three meals a week, access to health and medical care, clothing, education, stop drug use and reunite children with their families.
